Philipp Listman
wurde am 29. Oktober 1853 als der Sohn von Adam Listman, welcher im Jahre ’42 eingewandert war und ’67 starb, in Syracuse geboren. Nachdem er die Townsendschule besucht hatte, war er im Eisgeschäft seines Bruders thätig und ist diesem Beruf bis auf den heutigen Tag treu geblieben. Philipp Listman gehört heute zu den grössten Eishändlern im County und ist als Geschäftsmann unter seinen Mitbürgern hoch angesehen. Er ist mit Lizzie geb. Thomas glücklich verheirathet und hat 5 Kinder—2 Knaben und 3 Mädchen. Hr. Listmann wohnt 624 Katherinestrasse. [page 278]
