Richard Feigel
wurde am 14. Dez. 1861 in Syracuse geboren, besuchte in seiner Jugend die öffentliche Schule, wie auch Prof. Regener’s deutsche Schule. Er erlernte die Hosiery Manufactur und betreibt gegenwärtig ein blühendes Herrenausstattungs-Geschäft in West-Fayettestrasse. Herr Feigel ist als umsichtiger und erfolgreicher Geschäftsmann allgemein bekannt und als Bürger geachtet und geschätzt. Während er bis jetzt noch kein öffentliches Amt bekleidet hat, ist in letzter Zeit doch die öffentliche Aufmerksamkeit in ungewöhlicher Weise auf ihn gelenkt worden, als er den Contrakt zur Wegschaffung der städtischen Abfälle (Garbage) übernahm und dieses verwickelte Problem auf die allereinfachste und billigste Weise löste.
