Gabriel Bondy
wurde am 15. Dezember 1820 in Prag, Böhmen, geboren, wo er die Volksschule besuchte und nach Absolvirung derselben die Schneiderei erlernte. Herr Bondy heirathete im Jahre 1849, jedoch starb seine Frau bald darauf und im Jahre 1859 nahm er sich die zweite Frau. Die Ehe ist mit 8 Kindern gesegnet, von denen die meisten in Duluth, Minn., wohnen. Er wanderte im Jahre 1853 nach Amerika aus und kam sofort nach Syracuse, wo er sogleich Arbeit in seinem erlernten Beruf fand und in Folge seiner unermüdlichen Thätigkeit und Reellität es zu einigem Wohlstand brachte, so das er seine Tage in Ruhe und sorgenlos beschliessen kann. Mr. Bondy married in the year 1849, however his wife died soon after and in the year 1859 he took to himself a second wife. This marriage is blessed with 8 children, most of whom live in Duluth, Minnesota. He emigrated to America in the year 1853 and came immediately to Syracuse, where he found work in his accustomed trade and because of his tireless effort and honesty he achieved some prosperity, so that his days can be spent in peace and without worry.
